Fortress Comics as it exists now was founded by Jack Thomas in 2017. His Grandson wanted to enjoy comics and missed out on when his Grandfather (Jack) had a brick-and-mortar store in the past known as Carnival Comics. The, "Fortress," in the title comes from Jack being a veteran. The slogan of, "We've got issues," arose from how Jack deals in so many issues of comics from the Golden Age, to Silver Age, Bronze Age, and even (the good) Modern books! Jack is always selling something cool and can't wait to meet you at one of his future stops!
